What would you like to know?
I have SPMU, what do I need to do afterwards?
For approximately the first week after the procedure you may experience some of the following: swelling, dryness, itching, tenderness, red skin and flaking. It is really important to understand that this is completely normal and to leave the area long to avoid any of the pigment dropping out. If you are feeling less than 100%, you may find the healing process takes slightly longer.
If you have had your eyebrows done and they are itching, place your finger on an ice cub and put this onto the the area to subside the itching.
Lips – if you have ever suffered from cold sore previously to the procedure it is important to use a recommended topical cream or medication for 7 days prior to and after the procedure to avoid traumatising the area. This will help stop an outbreak, which would be extremely uncomfortable and potentially causes scarring.
If you are having eyeliner done, you may find afterwards that your eyes may stick together and become red and swollen. Wrap some ice in a towel and place to your eyes to help reduce the swelling.
